Types of carriers for you and baby
Wraps:
- Stretchy Wraps: Made from stretchy fabrics, these wraps are ideal for newborns and smaller babies.
- Woven Wraps: Made from non-stretchy, woven fabric, useful for newborns to toddlers. More carrying positions and the most adjustable of all sling options.
Ring Slings: Woven fabric with rings at one end, allow for easy adjustment. Great for quick trips and can be used from newborn to toddler.
- Hybrid carriers: Carriers like a Close Caboo are a hybrid between a stretchy wrap and a ring sling.
Soft-Structured Carriers (SSCs): Also known as buckle carriers. They are suitable for various carrying positions and provide good back support.
Meh Dais (Mei Tais): Traditional Asian-style carriers with a rectangular body panel and four straps that tie around the waist and shoulders.
